Birdo Helps Coffee Bean Tech Evolve

Drawing from Jean-Baptiste Lamarck’s pioneering work on the concept of evolution, the Brazilian studio Birdo crafted this animated business parable. It’s titled Evolve, a spot for the Californian company Coffee Bean Technology, and it was designed and directed by Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet. Muppet had help on the animation front from Pedro Eboli, Antonio Linhares, William Iamazi Ferro and Rafael Gallardo.

Birdo Deposits Banco Mercedes-Benz Spot

Here’s a new spot from the Brazilian studio Birdo. It’s for Bank Mercedes-Benz (who knew there was such a thing?), and the agency Salem. It’s simply titled Truck, and it was directed by Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet. The two had help on the animation from Rafael Gallardo, Pedro Eboli and William Iamazi Ferro.

Birdo Kicks Off São Paulo Film Festival

The talented team at Brazil-based Birdo Studio produced the opening film from this year’s São Paulo International Film Festival, which is underway and continues until November 5th. The Flash-animated sequence was directed by Amir Admoni and character design by Os Gemeos. Animation direction was handled by Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet, while animators Pedro Eboli, William Iamazi Ferro and Rafael Gallardo took the Flash animation reigns.

Birdo Team Frees Teenage Girl

Check out this new spot for Sempre Livre Teen, a sanitary napkin product by Johnson & Johnson, Brasil. This 2D ad, which looks and moves beautifully, was animated enitirely in Flash and was directed by Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet at Birdo Studio. I spotted this on the blog of an animator on the project, Pedro Eboli, who was joined by animators William Iamazi Ferro and Bruno Hamzagic. The agency overseeing the spot, titled My Life as a Teenage Girl, was Samurai.

Frito Lay Flashes Little Bright Eyes

The Frito-Lays campaign we mentioned earlier this month has revealed another Flash-animated short. Little Bright Eyes was designed, storyboarded and directed by Berlin-based Fons Schiedon for Frito-Lay Dips and Chips project titled Made For Eachtother. The short was animated in Flash, with After Effects compositing. The project came to life by way of Patricia Claire and PostPanic. The animation team was comprised of Birdo’s Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet along with assistant animators Pedro Eboli and Rafael Gallardo. Goodby, Silverstein & Partners lead the campaign. Since our last post, there’s also been a few new shorts from this campaign revealed at our sister-site Lineboil.com.
