Rikke Asbjoern (The Furry Pals), has revealed a new short she created at Cartoon Network last year. The ATM was intended as an intersticial, and all of the animation was produced in Flash. Full credits below.

Sidekick Stars on Cartoon Network in June

Cartoon Network Pilots Emerge From London

The US launch of The Amazing World of Gumball, which we’ve been covering over on Lineboil, is scheduled for May 9th, and it will be the first series to emerge from the London-based Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe team. This group, which is helmed by Daniel Lennard, is tasked with incubating new series, and you’re about to get a sneak peek at the next contenders. Six 3-minute pilots, some of which has been finished for 2 years, and all of which were produced in Flash (in concert with Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects), are now available for viewing on the YouTube. I’m including my particular favorites below, but they’re all worth a look. I feel like I should almost break this into several posts, because these videos include some of the best Flash-animation we’ll post all year. Problem Solverz Animated in Flash For Cartoon Network

I got confirmation yesterday that this episode of Problem Solverz below was indeed animated in Flash. In fact, much of the crew from Fosters Home From Imaginary Friends (including Eric Pringle) worked on the project , which is now coming to Cartoon Network in 2011. It’s the creation of Ben Jones (Paper Rad collective, and the Adult Swim pilot Neon Knome) and Eric Kaplan (the story editor on Futurama, amongst other things). Prepare yourself – this isn’t your father’s Cartoon Network series:

Hero:108 Premieres Today on Cartoon Network

We first wrote about Hero:108 back in 2007, and today the Flash-animated series arrives on Cartoon Network. The show is a co-production by Gamania Digital Entertainment, Mike Young Productions, Moonscoop, and Cartoon Network Europe. Big congrats to my pal Rita Street and the all the Flash-animators who helped get it on the air.

Six Point Helps Chowder Get Animated

Fawn Veerasunthorn at Six Point Harness Studios directed this Flash-animated Chowder spot for Cartoon Network’s Get Animated campaign. It’s part of the Spot the Block effort which “encourages kids to use the Nutrition Facts Label on food packages to make healthier food choices.” The animation team included James Krenzke, Mac Whiting, Jaime Velasquez, and Joe Kossuth.
