Corey McDaniel, one half of the Gundarr team, has revealed the first animated scene from his series concept Chicken-head Joe. It’s a concept he’s had rolling around for a few years now. In 2009, the series was intended to take place on a college campus, where “all the guys are ugly animals and all the women are hot chicks.”

It’s the creation of Corey McDaniel and Ted Wilson, and I subsequently invited them to start making full episodes for Mondo’s YouTube channel. And so with barbaric furiosity, McDaniel and Wilson set of on an epic journey that spawned this first episode and many more to come. New installments will launch every other Wednesday. The Magical Platypus International team have forced a small village of Christmas elves to work 18 days on this new animated holiday short. It’s the follow-up to last month’s GUNDARR: Chapter 57, and A Very Gundarr Christmas was created by Ted Wilson, David Weibe, Corey Mcdaniel, Tony Osman and Wayne Salter. Merry Glingnarr to everyone!

Platypus Team Sends Gundarr Into Battle

The chaps known as Magical Platypus International (remember MadriGras Jenkins?) have combined their animation forces again to create Gundarr. Perhaps a cousin of great warriors like Conan and Thundarr, Gundarr has laid down his sword in favor of a handgun. His battle cry is simply hysterical: “by the sword of my gun!” Magical Platypus International is Ted Wilson, David Weibe, Corey Mcdaniel, Tony Osman and Wayne Salter.
