There’s already been several posts here on CHF about the work of the Chinese studio Its Cartoon. Here we see many types of animals competing for the love one woman. And in the end, a frog punches her in the face. Wha?

The Chinese cartoon studio Its Cartoon has been mentioned here before, more recently in September for their short ‘Donghua,’ or what we called ‘The Lusty Troll.’ They’re released a new short, which we’ll call ‘That Flipping Bird,’ and it’s equally as enjoyable. The use of ‘bullet time’ and no actual dialogue makes this a short that can be enjoyed the world over.

The Chinese animation company Its Cartoon have cooked up the first installment in a series that I believe is titled either ‘Donghua’ or ‘Xuanyuan.’ The plot seems very similar to ‘PUCCA,’ the Korean Flash-animated show that will soon air on the European Jetix network. It’s a tale of failed romance, much like in ‘Donghua,’ but here we follow a green troll in pursuit of a cute, furry-esque girl. In this first installment, we see our troll suitor fail and fail again – all nested between some fairly adult humor. It’s a trend I’ve seen from the Chinese, Japanese and Korean animation markets – shows that, on the surface, appear young-skewing, but the addition of adult themes like sex and romance seem to hint of an older target. The show is hosted at the Chinese animation portal Joypark, which currently shows 4 vacant slots, leading me to believe that we can expect several more installments from this horny, love-struck troll.
