Oren Mashkovski recently began animated a new series titled Snap Short. This episode is titled Diversity.

As you are all surely aware, today is Towel Day. Errr… what? Okay, it’s not a huge deal yet, but Towel Day is a tribute to Douglas Adams, the author of such books as The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. It’s actually observed in dozens of countries, with followers carrying around a towel in Adams’ honor. Why, a towel? Here’s the quote from THGTTG, “A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.” And on that note, enjoy this animated short that was designed by Eran Mendel and animated by Oren Mashkovski.

The Missing Link were recently asked when they would have time to create the 12-second opener for the 2010 Tel Aviv animation festival. Their reply was “when pigs fly.” With that out of the way, they created this fast-paced, aerial assualt, which was designed and conceived by JP Vine, animated and composited by Oren Mashkovski with character set-up by Mysh.

Here’s a new promo video for Xsights, an app that performs “mobile visual search.” The app was created by a team in Israel, and so was the promo video. The guys at Circus Animations designed it and Mysh and Mashko directed.

The founders of The Missing Link, Oren Mashkovski, Mysh and JP Vine, have teamed up with the online photo application PicApp to produce this Flash-animated promo. PicApp allows bloggers and content publishers to pick from millions of premium, legal images and use them on your site for free. I’ve inserted a photo of Adobe headquarters in this post so you can see how it looks.
