After a long haitus, Mike Geiger has produced a new installment for his Flash-animated series County Ghost. The fifth episode is titled The Gift of Ghost.
When two Flash animation wizards combine forces – you get a Mecha-Ani-Mator. Well, actually you get Smile and Penny, a new web series from Mike Geiger (County Ghost & Cuddle Sticks) and Jamie Mason, aka Hobo Divine. It’s reportedly been in the works for quiet a while, and they’ve just now delivered the title sequence:
County Ghost creator Mike Geiger has taken a stand against the massive amount of spending his homeland has poured into the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. This animated “peaceful protest” calls out the Canadian government for missing a golden opportunity to funnel money “into more meaning avenues.” The Flash-animated short, titled How To Run a School 2010 Winter Games Style, was produced in conjunction with the NFB’s CITIZENShift program, “a multimedia platform dedicated to media for social change.”
Mike Geiger (County Ghost and Cuddle Sticks) has offered his rendition of a key plot point from Star Wars: A New Hope. Below is a 15-second clip from the 1977 film in which Luke accidentally discovers Princess Leah’s call for help. It’s all part of Star Wars Uncut, a new crowdsourcing project by Casey Pugh.
Mike Geiger’s series County Ghost takes on time travel and space travel in this forth installment, titled Sent Back, Still Fronting.
