The mighty nockFORCE duo comprised of Jim Gisriel and Ian Jones-Quartey has released their 35th episode titled Unrealistic New York. They take issue with the sitcom Friends and cook up a scheme to take down a certain artistic borough in NYC.
nockFORCE, the weekly animated musings of Jim Gisriel and Ian Jones-Quartey, has spawned its first politically-minded episode. This Flash-animated series isn’t the most elaborately-animated project, but keep in mind that Jones-Quartey is animating on his own - weekly. It’s a loopy, open-topic series that’s now released the 26th episode titled Presidential Go-Kart Race, which nods to the Nintendo game Mario Kart.
Jim Gisriel and Ian Jones-Quartey, a New York-based animator and comic artist, have launched their animated rap group effort called nockFORCE. Described as “a dope mixture of music, cartoons and general freshness,” nockFORCE features music by Gisriel and Jones-Quartey. The two have been working on the project since the fall of 2006, and now their first animated episode, designed and animated by Jones-Quartey, launched yesterday.
