Jon Lambe, the younger brother of the character designer/animator Steve Lambe (El Tigre, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi), has been toiling away on a new series concept up in New Brunswick. Kid Odin is an idea that emerged back when Lambe was animating on Skunk Fu at Fatkat, and he more recently dove in to create this one-minute, Flash-animated sample.
Ka-Ching Cartoons, which is run by Dutch animators Joost van den Bosch and Erik Verkerk, has recently assembled a new show reel. The clip, which you can view below, features shots from Freaky Frankenbike Patrol, the title sequence from Skunk Fu, Mr. Medicine - the Musical, and the 8-bit episode from Skunk Fu, all of which were animated in Flash.
Skunk Fu, an new comedy adventure series Aidan Harte and Hyun Ho Khang, has begun to spread on the world’s airwaves. The series, which was animated by Ireland’s Cartoon Saloon, started airing on BBC earlier this month, and it has been sold in 22 countries, including Australia (ABC), Ireland (TG4), Germany (Super RTL) and France, where it plays on Canal J. Note to all you hip hop fans - the show’s theme was written and performed by Ghost Face from the Wu Tang Clan.
