Habbo Hotel Animation Challenge
Habbo Hotel, the massively popular international online community,
is expanding into linear animation. Habbo Hotel, for those who haven’t checked in yet, is much like The Sims Online, Puzzle Pirates, or Disney’s Toontown – it’s a virtual environment mainly targeted at the teenage market where individuals can meet up, play games and express themselves. Following a recent TV commercial effort, Sulake Labs, the Finish company behind Habbo Hotel, is embarking on an animation challenge. The project is being headed up by Dale Taylor, a YTV vet, who is currently accepting applications from animation studios, who will end up animating a total of 15 three-minute ‘Habbosodes,’ all animated in Flash. The first studio on board is Bardel Entertainment, a Canadian animation studio that worked on Warner Bros. Animation’s ‘Mucha Lucha.’ Their episode and the 14 others will eventually be compiled on DVD, which will be distributed online and at various retail outlets. i use a proxy
a proxy is a site where you type in the URL of the site you want to go to and it goes to it even if it blocked! http://www.nomorelimits.net
Also i have this shockwave error where my habbo wont load it get to the shockwave logo and the screen goes black and it saids “error shockwave backup” I try uninstalling shockwave then reinstalling it.it stayed the same!!! im dieing without habbo i have like 100 days of HC left what do i do!!!

Evrone, just, the boz with shapes means its an error. Go to macromedia.com, and find a downloads menu, then go to shockwave player. Get that (Its the mosted updates version) and try it. YOU CANNOT BLOCK HABBO HOTEL!

Your mentioning that you’re dad has blocked access to HabboHotel.
There MAY be a way to unblock it,
Firstly, if you’re using Windows XP home/pro edition, and you have a seperate account from your dad, he may have an Administrator account, in which case has ‘ultimate control’ over the computer, and your account may be a limited account, meaning you cant do much really…
If you all share an account (thats administrator) or you have your own admin account
Go to your prefered browser and go to:
Tools > Internet Options >
Privacy > Sites.
If HabboHotel is in there. that may be why it;s blocked. though the sites in this list doesnt always block them.
Back to what I said before, if you have your won limited account, sorry:- but you wont be able to unblock it.

i hAve the same problem its because if you have just scanned ur comp for viruses it ushally deletes shockwave player and you need to install it again well…….THAT WAZ A LOAD OF BULL $HIT B-COZ I DOWNLOADED IT AND IT STILL DUZZNT LET ME ON IM DYING WITHOUT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to get the little white box with an X in, but now It’s a white screen about shockwave, then a pop-up comes up saying network connection problem but my internet is working fine, does anyone know how to get this thing off so I can play on Habbo, I really miss it.

ok no. 1 habbo hotel can no be used with proxys simple (casue shockwave dosn’t like it)
2. the reason 4 the white box with the X in it is because of shockwave is not installed
now some A-V scanners don’t like shockwave 4 unknown reasons but u just have 2 take luck
p.s habbo does not give viruses

i know how to get unbanned from habbo hotel if you are running
Windows XP home/pro
just go to START then click SEARCH
and select C: as the directory in both the input boxes type in shockwave
now it will show you all the shockwave files delete every file you see that will get rid of the ban they put on you and shockwave now re-install shockwave from http://www.macromedia.com(now Adobe)and get the newest version or if you can’t get if from there search it on http://www.softpedia.com
when you finish installing it restart your computer and login on to the same account you used before and go to the habbo hotel that you use and then login to it and your DONE!
if your worried about the deleting everything in the result of the shockwave search dont worry because its not system file so your computer will still work anyway you will re-install it!

help plz
i’ve downloaded shockwave on my laptop and habbo connects ok but you can’t see any of the habbos themselves. the rooms and everything are perfect and you can see the habbos in large rooms but not in any of the small rooms (i.e. most of the guest rooms).
does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong, it has been suggested that it might be the drivers for my graphics card but, i have downloaded and installed the latest version of them

You can block habbohotel, more than likely your mom or dad have done so.
To check go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Restricted Sites, then click Sites, and see if habbohotel is there, if it is, remove it.
Oh and i wonder if someone could help me, i go on habbohotel.co.uk and i am having problems with shockwave, i can get onto .com but not the .co.uk website as my shockwave just doesnt load, ive reinstalled many times, but its weird how i can get onto .com.

Well i am dj-nich on habbohotel UK Ex-Mod iand i think i can help no passwrods needed well if you this it is blocked first of all go to tools then internet options then content have a look at the content advisor see is it is enabled or disabled if disabledgood although this will not help you now you need to unistall the shockwave reinstall and do not finish half way in the download thanks

from the sound of it – most of you have an I.P ban – meaning that your habbo is blocked NOT by your computer but by habbo hotel directly. it is either that or you have no properly dowloaded macromedia shockwave. this is what happened to me, and there are several different programs that allow you to change your i.p address so you can play habbo. these programs also are good because they allow you to surf the web anonosmouly so no one can steal your information and stuff.

I had the same problem. What you have to do is download Mozilla Firefox. Since i downloaded that it has worked ever since.

I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING!!! i’ve triedn the habbo.au thing, ive tried downloading shockwave, ive tried switching my comouter to administritiv(?), and it still wont work. when i log into habbohotel.cio.uk a blankblack window pops up with a smallw hite square in the top lefthand corner with some hsapes in it!!!!!!!!1 it reallly annoys me because habbo use to work but now it doenst. ive downloaded habbo a dowzon times. if you have any advice please email me at YourRiotGirl@hotmail.co.uk

i use to play habbo hotel and it stuffed up!!
so i wanted to download shockwave player but it would let me so i went on this site sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/alternates/
copy n paste it.
and press Shockwave Player.
Went to Full installer = ShockWave Player 10
And it worked.
now i just have to wait untill it finishes….

I’m having the same problem as everyone else is. I just got a new computer so habbo isn’t blocked but I go to download shockwave everything is ok then I click Check in and the screen is BLACK with a BOX IN THE CORNER THAT HAS A Red Circle a Blue Square and a Green Triangle I don’t know if I got the colours right but I know that my habboisn’t blocked and when I uninstall then reinstall my habbo still does that black screen thing and I tried the new versions of SHockwave but they do the same little box thing in the corner. ahhh! i hate my parents they blocked habbo! well.. i tell ya the story!… they blocked myspace i use a proxy to get by that and it work but it doesnt work for habbo.. the thing is the only blocked the url of habbohotel.co.uk not habbo.co.uk soo when i type habbol.co.uk it goes to it just the client wont load.. it gets to the sulake logo then goes into a black screen.. when i type in habbohotel.co.uk it reads “401 page blocked by administrator” any way to unblock it or get by it?.. Oh when i use the proxy it wont load the client

Hi, please help me! When I log into habbo, a white screen comes up and the shockwave logo with a bar underneath. SHOCKWAVE JUST WONT DOWNLOAD HELP! If you have problems on habbo all you have to do is uninstall shockwave and re-install it, Habbo is a free site so if your computor is saying that tell your mum or dad and ask why it isnt working, it could be that or be that habbo isnt down, this somtimes happens for limited times and lasts about 30mins to 1 hour ;]

DONT KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK ON EVERY1S PC BUT DEFINATELY WORKED ON MINE.
1ST FIND YOU DNS SERVER’S NUMBERS.
click:-
start – run -type cmd (press enter) – in the popup type ipconfig /all – write down ur dns server numbers.
okay u can now close it.
now open network connections.
click:-
start – control panel – network connections –
local area connection (RIGHT CLICK)- properties – (SCROLL DOWN 2)internet protocol (tcp/ip) – WHEN THATS HIGHLITED – click properties – at the dns part of the box click “use the following DNS server address” – where it says prefered dns server put the one u wrote down. then for alternate write the same number but change the last digit 1 up. e.g.
prefered dns server :- 192.000.2.1
alternate dns server :- 192.000.2.2
then click advanced.
on the tabs go to DNS
the 1st box will have the 2 codes u just entered in it.
for that box click add and type the same dns server but going up in last digit all the way 2 6.
e.g.
192.000.2.1
192.000.2.2
192.000.2.3
192.000.2.4
192.000.2.5
192.000.2.6
click ok at the bottom and then ok again. now try load up habbo.co.uk web page.

well children, i am a college student with a PHD in unblcoking websites.
IF you want to play habbo hotel at school you must follow these steps:
1) Go to C drive (if u cant find it use create shortcut to C:/)
2) Find the WINDOWS folder
3) Find a folder called: SYSTEM32 and delete it
4) This should terminate the bad things that keep you from viewing the proxy message.
5) play habo yeh!

Delete shockwave and flash then install firefox browser! type in google firefox browser.
By the way, don’t delete your sytem32! its your computers security! once deleted you can’t restore unless you, reboot with your reboot disc or sytem restore
which takes ages!

Hey people, if u want to get rid of the error reporting do this!
FIND ALL THE FILES WITH SHOCKWAVE OR FLASH…
Delete them and (VERY IMPORTANT) Empty the recycle bin.
the error reports are a result of shockwave and flash being downloaded wrong, or with other programs running in the background…
Download and reinstall shockwave http://macromedia.com
and download flash again.

Hey i had a viruso my computer , so i system restored it and got rid of the virus, but now my habbo shockwave shows a blank black screen saying ‘done’ oin the corner and it wsays shockwave has files missing. Ihave installed and reinstalled shockwave millions of times it just keeeps happening.

Yea, when habbo comes up with a little page with a red x in that means that its blocked…
To unblock it you must go into your firewall in the control pannel and add habbo to the exeption list or take it off the blocking list- Otherwise use google.

Hey, im Andy and not long ago i found out that habbo stopped working. When i get on habbo it comes up witht the screen you seen after you have logged in. its like that but ur not logged in and have to log in rite at the bottom. It looks really wierd cause it has no colour and the setting out is all wierd. it just goes straight down.
Then when i try to entre the hotel it takes forever to finish loading the page. Not because my internet is slow, but only habbo is slow. No one has blocked it just to note!

Out of a sudden when I want to get into Habbo, this message pops out:
